About

From fading channels to production code

I trained as an Electronics & Communication Engineer at ACE Engineering College in Ghatkesar — a JNTUH-affiliated college (now autonomous) — where my final-year work looked at how signals hold up under noise and multipath interference.

That question turned out to be good preparation for a career in quality engineering. I joined Cognizant in October 2016 as a fresher and spent close to six years there, starting on a banking & investment project and later moving into healthcare, where I worked as a tester and grew into automation. Along the way I picked up the tools of the trade: Selenium, Cucumber, and the enterprise platforms that keep large systems observable and supportable.

Since July 2022, I've been a Senior Software Engineer at Optum Technology Solutions, carrying that same instinct for finding what's broken and reliability into building the software itself.

How I Work

What I bring to a team

Quality-first engineering
Years spent finding what breaks before release shape how I write and review code today — testing isn't an afterthought, it's part of the build.
Automation & test frameworks
Selenium, Selenium Grid, Cucumber and TestNG for regression suites that scale across releases, not just individual test cases.
Cross-domain systems
Comfortable in regulated, complex environments — from banking & investment platforms to healthcare — where correctness matters as much as speed.
Full-lifecycle delivery
From requirement and test design through to writing production code as a Senior Software Engineer — I've worked the full path from spec to shipped feature.
Six years of trying to break other people's software taught me the one thing that matters most in writing my own: assume it's broken until you've proven otherwise.
